New lightweight ski touring binding, also suitable for alpine touring. Carbon-reinforced toe piece with additional rubber for easy and quick boot entry, excellent boot retention with two pairs of springs. The heel piece is small, with lateral release in both directions, features three climbing aid levels, and easy switching with a pole.

The Alpinist Free, with a Z-value from 6.0 to 13.0, weighs only 375 g. and thanks to the new, wider base plate, it provides noticeably improved power transmission and ski performance. This means the pin binding is the first choice when every gram counts on long ascents followed by unforgettable freeride descents. Like its predecessor, in addition to the heel piece, the Alpinist is equipped with an extremely rigid, carbon-reinforced ISI toe piece, whose wider platform allows for simplified and intuitive boot entry. The smart pin lever kinematics allow the pins to engage with very little force. The Alpinist heel piece offers a full 35 mm adjustment range and climbing aids at 0°, 5°, and 9°. The wide drilling pattern of the Alpinist Free also supports very good power transmission to the edges, and the overall design allows for active length compensation, which does not affect ski flex. The Alpinist Free is made from sustainable materials, such as recycled or bio-based plastics.
