Ski touring on the sunny side of the Alps! With its location in Central Europe, Slovenia is quickly and easily accessible. The distances within the country are small, which means that from one point you can experience and get to know the whole country. Slovenian mountains are known for their beauty, not so much for their height. The ski slopes are mostly from an altitude of 2000 m, a maximum of 2500 m. Comfortable accommodation in an apartment house in the city of Kranj, daily ski tours. At a distance of 20 to 50 km from the accommodation, we can find all the best that Slovenia has to offer from ski tours.
We will visit all three highest mountain groups in Slovenia, Kamniske Alps, Karavanke, and the Julian Alps with Triglav National Park and realized the best tours in each of them.

ABOUT SKI TOURING IN SLOVENIA
There are three mountain groups in Slovenia, all have great opportunities for ski touring.
Kamniske Alpe: the main goal for experienced skiers is the highest peak Grintavec 2558m, a striking peak visible from afar. For everyone else they are comfortable tours above the ski resort Krvavec to the few peaks just above 2000m.
Karavanke: here we can not miss the popular tour to Begunjscica, as well as not nice beautiful tours of scenic open slopes above the mountains huts Kofce or Košuta. The main goal, of course, is the highest peak of this mountain group, Stol 2500m.
Julian Alps with Triglav National Park: there are countless possibilities here. If we go from west to east, we are offered tours to Kotovo sedlo (Tamar Valley), Mojstrovka (Vrsic pass), below Kriska stena (Krnica Valley), Križ (Vrata Valley), Kredarica with top of Mount Triglav (Krma Valley), Rodica and Vogel (Bohinj Lake).

Depending on the weather and snow conditions, we will do 5 ski tours. We have three mountain groups available. The most possibilities are in the Julian Alps: Mojstrovka, Kotovo sedlo, Rodica, Pod Kriško steno, Križ, Kredarica, Za Cmirom and much more. In the mountain group Kamniške Alpe we can go to Grintavec, Storžič or Ledinski vrh. Stol and Begunjščica are the most interesting in the Karavanke mountain group.
As already mentioned, every evening we will check the weather forecast, snow conditions and our physical condition. Based on all of this, we will choose a tour for the next day.
